So this will be the end of the Lifestyle Series for now. This week I'm going to share what I watch to entertain and inform myself with channels on YouTube. Most of them don't need explanation but some of them you might not have ever heard of. It's not very complicated so enjoy these because some of these videos may not be for everyone. I like them and that's really the point. Plus I'm a nerd if you haven't figured that out yet.
The Stupendous Wave:
Today is May 4th so that means it's Star Wars day. For those of you that don't know the first Star Wars movie was released into theaters on May 4th, 1977. Therefore today is the 40th anniversary of the premiere of Star Wars. This channel is dedicated to all this Star Wars. I like this channels because the host is extremely knowledgeable about Star Wars. When it comes to Star Wars knowledge he is very good in my opinion. As The Vaults of Terra is to Warhammer 40K this channel is to Star Wars as a great source for those who love Star Wars.
Pixel Art Shop:
My friend Kyle hosts this channel where he shows you his pixel art works and how he makes them. You can order them from him if you see one that you like. He can even do custom stuff as he did a custom Flash logo for my last year. Check out his channel to see what he does next. I remember watching food a long time ago. It's good to see how far he's come since than.
Gordon Ramsay:
Because I'm trying to improve my cooking skills. A man needs to know how to cook for himself and his family.
Vesper Arcade:
Once upon a time Street Fighter was my alternative to illegal drugs. That and anime were just as addictive. Though those days have passed because of age (and that bullshit called Street Fighter 4) I still have knowledge on how the game should be played. So instead of breaking my fingers to the blistering point I watch other do it instead.
Capcom Fighter:
The channel where Capcom broadcast it's official Street Fighter tournaments.
The Rock:
It's Dwayne "The Rock " Johnsons channel. Of course I'd subscribe to it. Haven't you seen all these wrestling posts I put on here?
Call of Duty:
Another, no brainer.
Nerdist:
I've been following Nerdist since it started. I've seen it change and grow since it started. It's very good.
Ultimate Fighting Championship:
The pre-fight vignettes and post fight videos are what I come to this channel to see.
Geek and Sundry:
I found this channel via Nerdist. This is a nerd channel so if your a nerd feel free to join.
IGN:
If you know than you know.
PC Mag:
I mentioned that I'm a nerd right? So don't be surprised that I'm into Personal Computer Magazines YouTube channel.
CNET:
Again, this guy, nerd.
Funny or Die:
I'm a nerd that loves comedy.
College Humor:
Honestly I don't think it's as funny as it use to be. Maybe I'm getting too old for it but I think it was funnier a few years ago. It's tougher to find videos that I want to watch. That said when I do find something its production value is very good.
DC Comics:
I'm a DC guy more than a Marvel guy. Still love Marvel but DC is my jam.
PlayStation:
I'm a PlayStation guy more than a X-Box guy. Still love X-Box but PlayStation is my jam.
Anime News Network:
There was a saying in the VHS in to DVD years when I was buying anime. It went like this, "Anime: crack is cheaper and less addictive". Yeah, times have changed thanks to streaming and downloading but "good" anime is still addictive.
Game Informer:
I'm a video game nerd.
Ali-A
This guy is C.O.D. crazy in a good way.
M3RKMUSIC:
Another guy whose C.O.D. crazy. Love it.
Johnny Carson:
I don't care if I'm showing my age. Funny is funny. Johnny Carson was and still is funny.
The Attack:
Do you miss G4TVs Attack of the Show? I miss it. That's whys I watch this channel. It's not the same but it's close enough.
FPS Russia:
I like guns and seeing stuff get blown up. Now the channel has not been updated in over a year but the videos are still there.
