Review: The Three-Body Problem

I'm sure there was a good story in here but I can't find it. It's mostly throwing out smart sounding words over and over again. I was trying to figure out what it was about. I guessed it was an alien invasion story. But then it went around and around a bunch of babble just to end up being an alien invasion story. I give it an extra star for the fancy math it spews but honestly there's barely a story here.

That was a dumb book. First it tries to shove politics in your face. Next tons of scientific babble, I mean a ton of it. Then it gets down to what the Three Body Problem is by playing a video game. Then ends the game by saying there is no solution to the problem. Then shifts to a woman mad that teenagers killed her dad so she uses the sun to tell aliens to come kill everyone. This is after one of the aliens says don't answer this message or we'll come kill all of you. Then it shifts to some Illuminati meets Scientology kind of conspiracy because some rich guys dad spilled oil on some birds. Then we hear the aliens say they'll destroy humans by making them dumb by using photons, sophons and more techno babble. All while calling humans bugs. Just so drunk scientists learning all this can be told by the drunk who got them drunk that bugs don't die easily.
