This has been an interesting post to create. The E3 show itself was not very impressive. Only Microsoft did anything really note worthy. I was catching up on all the gameplay and trailer videos that came since my last post on E3. I was thinking that maybe I'll find something really interesting from this show. That did not happen. So instead of telling you about a bunch of games that I think are going to be really great games I'll just show you. And no, I don't care about anything Nintendo did. I don't need or want another paperweight game console. Between IGN, GameInformer and Game Trailers I'll show you what I thought was worth my time. I did make a certain discovery though. I'll get to that after the videos. So here are the game that caught my attention and I believe will capture yours.
Now after all of that here is something that no one else has mentioned. This my doing another case of what we're being told and what we're not being told. So as I've said Microsoft had the most interesting announcements. Launching a new console in a smaller package is interesting but the constant mentioning of 4K is what caught my attention. See 4K is the current hot thing in television now. At least that's what Microsoft and Sony are trying to sell you. Now here's what your not being told, 4K is already obsolete. See while people are looking at 4K Ultra High Definition as the next big thing there already exist 8K Ultra High Defenition televisions. They are already selling for close to $10,000 but the fact that they exist should tell you that 4K Smart Ultra H.D.T.V. will not be a ten year long thing. Now coming in November around Black Friday and Christmas season you may want to buy a new 4K.U.H.D.T.V.
CNET - should you be worried about 8KTV
I totally encourage you to do so by the way. But keep in mind that soon that Microsoft and Sony will soon be trying to sell you on 8K gaming. One of the videos mentions how Sony will be talking about PlayStation 5 while Microsoft just wants to stick to the Xbox One X. Well obviously that won't happen because of 8K. So the Xbox One XX is still a possibility. Or maybe Xbox Two X and maybe someday Xbox Triple X. Yeah, bad pun. Anyway the point is to not be fouled by the marketing. All these great games and systems will all look good. Keep that in mind before you buy an new television, console, games or accessories. This 8K thing won't start being mentioned until E3 2019. By 2020 that's when the push to 8K will be on from the console makers. Remember that while you shop, it'll save you money. Beyond that E3 2018 should be better but we'll have to wait and see won't we. And yes, companies are already working on 16K. It's going to be a thing but don't get scared. Just do your thing and play fun games. Enjoy.
