Pro Wrestling: The new British style

With the announcement of a return of World of Sports Wrestling as a ten episode mini series I think it's important to look back at the old show. That was what I wanted to do with this post. But looking through videos of old World of Sport on YouTube gets complex. Video quality varied so I thought of something else. Seeing how you guys like last weeks post with the videos (Yes, I know that was too many) I figured I'd find some videos that highlight the current crop of British talents working the pro wrestling business. No, it's not all of them but you'll notice the mix of some current WWE performers with some very well respected independent performers.

If you've been paying attention to World Wrestling Entertainment (W.W.E.) and their United Kingdom Championship your only looking at the tip of the iceberg. And yes, there are other British wrestlers who look like they've been to this place called a Gymnasium. There are British wrestlers who look like they have more muscle on their bodies and less Guiness in their bellys. If you look at the last post you'll notice that I subscribe to many of the companies that employee most British wrestlers. So with that in mind enjoy the videos below. Next week I get away from the pro wrestling since WrestleMania week will be completely over. Enjoy.

I start out with the Evolve Mini Docs because they are very well done. Don't be surprised when W.W.E. steals this format to use for their performers. This is a great way to introduce a performer without making them look like some kind of actor. These men come across as real performers because there's little to no performance involved. The 365 Days are good recaps. Well done on Evolves part if you ask me. And Yes, I know Thacther is not British.
